We are proud to introduce our VRSF catless & catted downpipe for your N55 BMW. This downpipe is THE best bang for the buck mod available. This downpipe is available in both catless (race) & catted configuration.

Back pressure is significantly reduced by eliminating the restrictive catalytic converter in the factory downpipe with our catless or high flow 200 cell race cat which results in faster spool, an increase in power & a more aggressive exhaust note.

VRSF downpipes are hand crafted from mandrel bent SS304 grade stainless steel and our CNC precision machined flanges are also constructed from billet 304 grade stainless steel. All VRSF products include a lifetime warranty as well as our “No Hassle” satisfaction guarantee (including fitment). All M135i & 335i models produced up to 07/13 require the 3.5″ version of this downpipe. M135 and 335i models produced after 07/13 require the 4″ model of this downpipe. All M235 and 435i models require the 4″ version of this downpipe. Please feel free to contact us with the last 7 of your VIN if you need help determining exactly which version of the downpipe your car requires.

Note: We also offer ceramic coating services utilizing Cerakote High Temperature Ceramic coating, made to withstand temperatures up to 1800F. We use Cerakote’s best thermal barrier coating which helps keep the hot air inside the exhaust and out of the engine bay which decreases overall intake air temps along with engine and transmission oil temps. Please note that while we do offer a lifetime warranty on the downpipes, we only offer a 1 year warranty on the ceramic coating as well as the catted versions.

The use of de-cats, sports cats are for off road/motorsport use only. Using these parts would inhibit your vehicle from passing a MOT test.

Only EC type-approved components are legal and fit for road use.

If non EC type-approved components are fitted at Performance M, the vehicle cannot be driven from our premises on the road, the vehicle will need to be recovered on a trailer to prove your intention is for off road use.

Do we ship abroad ?

Yes we do, to almost anywhere in the world though remember the postage is often high when shipping anything bulky. Most bulky items we export will go by UPS so you can track the package online and could reach America within 48 hours providing its in stock !

However there are a few countries we do not ship to, some of these include: Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Russia, Nigeria, Macedonia, Syria, Ukraine, Lebanon.

Why is postage on bulky items to some countries expensive compared to some other companies ?

For both yours and our safety we use well known couriers such as DPD Local and UPS for shipping, then we know exactly where it is in the world at any time and we know its going to arrive safely. Shipping small items can be cheap, but items such as bodykits are expensive to ship - we have a very small margin on the postage fees merely to cover packaging. We can now ship using standard post on some items, however using all methods you may incur import charges when you receive the goods for which we cant be responsible for.

    I don't normally write reviews but I had to for this. In my humble opinion this is THE best mod you can do to your car to bring the sound to life without changing too much. It completely transformed my cars soundtrack and really brought it to life.

    It sounded good before with the M-Perf exhaust but this is a whole other level. You can hear the turbo now much more clearly, the engine notes are crisp and clearer throughout and feels how the car should sound. Very little drone and with valves shut still very tame. The best bit is no fuel smell like you get from a catless downpipe and still being MOT compliant.

    The quality of the build and welds on the product is also fantastic and it arrived very well packaged.

    Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to make their N55 sound as it should do and will buy from Performance M again.
